Environmental Science Club encourages students to strive for academic excellence and community involvement.  You will be expected to maintain A/B average in your classes and complete 20 hours of community service with Environmental Science.  We will have several activities that students will be given the opportunity to pick which ones they would like to be involved. We would like to welcome you and help you  as you work to meet your goals.

Students will be expected to participate in at least 3 of the following activities.

Clean Up Campus Day

Landmark Park Program

Botanical Gardens Program

Ongoing Recycling

Recycled Art Contest

Campus Beautification Projects

Adopt a mile/area/stream program

“Don’t Drop it on Alabama” Spring Cleanup

Students are required to report to Mrs. Brown after each report card, so that grades are verified.  If a student’s grades drop below a B, that student will be put on probation for the following 9 Weeks. If a 10-11th grade student fails to meet service hours, that student will start out on probation the following year.  If a 12th grade student fails to meet service hours by the end of 3rd 9 weeks, that student will not receive a cord.

One time dues are $12. If you are a senior, cords are $6. Once we vote on a shirt, they will be $15. Please make checks out to NBHS. Dues must be turned in by November 15. 2019.
